Has anyone customized MSCA Physical Inventory Couting form?

When using MSCA (Handheld Devices) for Inventory Counting, If same item scanned twice, it does not aggregate the quantity; Instead, it is overwrites previous count/entry.

Oracle ( Doc ID 1160505.1 ) also confirms that, it is current functionality of this form.

Has anyone customized this page to scan same item multiple times?

I need input to map with tags and also suggest if any workaround is available.
