Hello All,

We are on E1 9.2/TR 9.2.0.3 and planning to enable long password (P98LPSEC). I just wanted to know if there are any issues faced.

I found solution E1: SEC: Unable To Change System User For Existing User in P98LPSEC When Long User Enabled in Tools Release 9.2.x (Doc ID 2177010.1) which talks about bug 24473609.

Please help me to know following:

  1. is above reported bug valid for 9.2.0.3/?
  2. is there a way to disable long password once enabled? JDE screen says it is not possible.
  3. We need enable LDAP after sometime. Will there any impact of this as well?
