Is there a way to view Item Master notes in the Material Workbench / On-Hand form?

We have a business inquiry to see if it is possible to enable or view Item Master notes within the Material Workbench form (presumably using the Attachments menu icon). This would provide the business context into how to handle a specific item, special notes from the item's buyer, etc. Is there a good way to do this? Thanks!
