Custom SLAM structure - can I delete if JE already imported

If I create a custom SLAM /AAD/JLD/JLT/JED and then link it all to my Ledger and then import Journal Entries from Receivables using this custom SLAM  - would I be able to delete that whole custom  SLAM /AAD/JLD/JLT/JED structure or it won't allow me because I have already JE/JE lines created ?
