Siebel Performance issue

Hello,

  We have been experiencing performance issue with Siebel Activity entity because of bulk data. Our data archieval process will take place in few months.

  But before data archieval can anyone suggest solution to improve the performance for this entity.

Issue:

Query Acivitiy record which is older than 1 yerar or so then it takes several minutes (3~4 minutes).

Pls suggest some solution.
