Model 1: Individual Pay:

Model 2: Group Pay (Common Pay Scale):

Model 3: Group Pay (No Common Pay Scale):

Model 4: Criteria-based Pay:

Our client implemented a custom program for grade step progression and not using any seeded jobs or the models above. Our custom program was created during the Oracle implementation for our Client in 2005.

When all the 4 Grade models are released by Oracle. This will help me to understand why we choose to develop a custom process. There may be two possible reasons. 1) The models are not available in 2005 so we went for custom process. (OR) 2) the models did not match our client’s requirement, so we went for a custom process.
