Create accounting for a check displays message that it is successful. But the accunting is only part

While running create accounting for a check (Payments --> query the check number --> Action-1 --> create accounting --> Final) I receive message "Accounting has been successfully created for this transaction". But if I re-query this payment, the "Accounting" status shows as "Partial".

Can you advise how to resolve it.
