Different PSU levels between GI and RDBMS home in cluster 11gR2

Hi everyone,

I was searching for an answer for below question but yet with no success. Didn`t find it also on oracle support.

So - is this supported to have different PSU levels(and other patches as well, over GI and RDBMS) for nodes in cluster?

I mean:

- stop one cluster node, patch GI and RDBMS(without catbundle) with, for example, OCT2016 PSU

- leave second node without patching

- start patched node

- let it work for ONE WEEK (or what is maximum time GI and RDBMS can operate on the same time with different patches levels)

- one week after patch second node with OCT2016 PSU - now both nodes are patched. Load patch to databases - catbundle.
