How to dispose of an asset for a prior period?

We have a group of asset that were loaded for a business unit via an excel to CI.  The assets were loaded with the incorrect depreciation dates and now we need to remove the assets from PeopleSoft.  The assets were loaded with a fiscal year of 2017 and start period of 1 and an end period of 12, when in fact it should have been loaded with a fiscal year of 2016 and a start and end period of 12.  Any assistance is greatly appreciated on how to handle these assets.  In total it's about 300 assets.
