changing DPIS for existing assets

Hi All,

Our company is acquired and as a part of this acquisition we need to update the Assets Current Cost, DPIS and Asset Life.

When changing DPIS from 23-JUL-2012 to 10-DEC-2016, we are getting issue APP-OFA-48392: Amortization Start Date must be after Date Placed In Service.

We have many assets with this issue. Can someone let me know if there is a way to overcome the issue.

We are using Asset Adjustment API to upload the Asset changes.
