Server Name Conflict

Hi All,

We are currently facing a problem when creating VMs using the Self-service Portal (Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 13.1c).

When a user issue a Service Request, it has the ability to modify the server name. This can (and does) generate conflicts when different users try to create servers with the same name. While the portal does not allow for the second server to be created, this is a security issue giving server name information to other users.

Have you come across this issue before? Do you know if there is a fix or workaround (e.g., prefix/suffix with an ID)?
