RMAN Duplicate added many hidden parameters to the spfile. Has anyone experienced this?

I recently executed the rman duplicate process to create a new non-prod DB from my prod DB.  When it came up the performance of the non-prod was much better than prod.  In comparing the pfiles I found no differences, but when I compared the spfiles there were a whole bunch of hidden parameters in the non-prod that were not in the prod DB.  Does anyone know why the rman duplicate put all of those in there?  I don't know if they're all needed, but I can say that the performance of my non-prod DB far surpasses my prod DB even

Howdy, Stranger!
