DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MFP RETAIL AND MFP COST METHODS

Hi Team,

about Merchandise Financial Planning module, i see that there are two versions of MFP: MFP Retail and MFP Cost.

But if I look the user guide i can see the same process and levels of details for both solutions: i.e.MFP Maintenance activity, Merchandising target and create plan, Location target and create plan.

The only difference that i found is the calculation of Gross Margin in the step of "create merch plan - inventory & receipt plan" (i.e Gross Margin = Sales at Retail - COGS or Sales C --> COGS is used for Retail Method and Sales C is used for Cost+).
