Implement CFC (cold-failover cluster) transformation using DNS failover and domain backup

Hello all

I am familiar with the documented steps for CTC transformation requiring the use of VIP and shared disk. However, if I am using an environment where the data centres do not have "VIP" facility and share no common subnet, and there is no shared disk storage facility between them, will the setup listed below work?

Are there community-colleagues out there using the set up below already? I have tested it successfully for OID and OAM already in a test environment.

  • hostname1
    • Managed server running out of: user_projects/domains/oam_domain
    • AdminServer running out of: user_projects/shareddisk
