purge original quote when sales order is purged

Is there a way to purge original orders when the sales order is purged? (by purge I mean move to the f42119 and f4201p tables)

We are NOT purging quotes when they are converted to orders because occasionally the sales order needs to be canceled and the quote opened. If the sales quote is purged, a new quote has to be created and the business didn't want to operate that way.
