Hi, I just did a fresh install of r12.2.4 Vision Demo on a VM on my laptop. When I try to start the app tier after starting the database, I get the following Note

"adstpall.sh: Database connection could not be established. Either the database is down or the APPS credentials supplied are wrong". I am not a DBA and would like to get help on how to resolve this issue. Please provide the scripts I need to run and where(what tool) I should run the scripts on. Thanks
