Stream process stuck at archive log while applying for more than 4 hours in down stream server

Hi,

   We have implemented streams. On down stream server the archive log is in process of application for  more than 4 hours. How can i trouble shoot / resolve this issue. My down stream database version is 11.2.0.2. Please help in this regard.
