Dear All,

     I wander, if does it make sense to keep backup sets of archived logs, which are generated during an INCREMENTAL LEVEL1 backup process? Does rman use them for recovery operation?

Every time when I do database restore, rman applies only INCREMENTAL LEVEL1 backups of data files not INCREMENTAL LEVEL1 backups of archived logs.

Also,  “report obsolete” command is reported them as an obsolete.
