ETO non production WO

Hi, I have a non production WO which is part of a project in ETO which will not move from status 97 to 99. There is an error message - "unposted cost over line." How do I post any late costs as the line on the sales order has been invoiced. The line on the sales order was posted 2 days prior to the late cost being allocated to the works order.
