Is Informatica Data Archive an approved third party application to archive/purge data in eBiz?

Getting conflicting information from vendor and Oracle sites.  I have opened a SR but wanted to hear from others.  And of course our largest tables are XLA subledger accounting and I don't think anyone Oracle or otherwise has a solution for those in a production environment.  What I think will happen is that we will use Informatica data archive to archive data only (assuming they use oracle approved functions) and then we will use GL purge and whatever other modules have, but are out of luck for XLA, LOBS, etc.
