Weblogic patching within EBS 12.2 using online patching

Hi All,

We just upgraded EBS to 12.2.5 and it is my first PSU patch cycle under the new system.

I am unclear about the process for weblogic.

My initial assumptions are :

a) To patch the database, it must be done offline because it is using OPatch.

b) The PSU for EBS can be done online using ADOP.

However,for weblogic using bsu.sh , do I need to either

a) Shutdown everything and patch the run system  , assuming that all will be sync'ed up during the cutover

or b) apply the bsu.sh patches on the patch filesystem and do an fs_clone ?
