Purchase Order Blanket Relese using P4310 vs. P43060

I have a Blanket Order (OB) created for qty 100.

I have released a qty 10 via P43060 without issue.

I then created a PO via P4310. There was no visual indication that a blanket order existed. It's for the same supplier/item. P4310, Procg Option #4 on Processing Tab is set to '1'.

When I created the PO, it did not update the qty on the OB nor did it reference the OB in the detail as the release from P43060 does.

Shouldn't the user be alerted there's an existing OB?

In order to release if visual indicator was displayed, wouldn't the user need to use the ROW exit to P43216?
