Ship confirm not done and order locked

Dear Support,

I have seen an issue several time while doing ship confirm, after OK clicked I saw message box stating- order/ shipment has been cancelled.

and transaction not processed but the order locked then I removed reservation and tried again then it processed without any problem.

Any thought of why this happens only some time?
