Meter reading interface

Hello everyone,

We would like to explore interfacing measurement readings from external PLC machines (or equivalents) physically attached to some assets onto our EAM application. What are some of the common ways of getting these readings from these machines and into the EAM meter reading interface table so that we can create EAM meter readings. Are there any whitepapers available that can provide some insight on this part of the process.

Our goal is to have these readings automatically sent to EAM, create EAM readings and have them drive the creation of PM work orders (or perhaps use with Quality plans).
