When starting Oracle VM Manager, get "Could not obtain the localhost address" error.

When starting Oracle VM Manager via:

service ovmm start

After waiting a few minutes, the process aborts with the following message:

Starting Oracle VM Manager Time out...

When I look in the logs, I see the following error.

java.lang.AssertionError: Could not obtain the localhost address. The most likely cause is an error in the network configuration of this machine.

I can't help but think that when I installed the OpenVPN client, it changed the network configuration in a way that will not allow my Oracle VM Manager to start.

Any insight into this issued would be much appreciated.
