Database "class slave wait" - What is it

Hi All,

I see very high "Class Slave wait" on the Database server. This is top 1 wait on the monitoring ., We use Oracle 12c and ASM .,

I could not find lots of details on what it is and causes on why it could be high .

I do notice i have relatively high DB file sequential read as well , And i expect it to be high as the application which is connecting is a batch process which is processing very high volume of data.,

Question is

1. What is the "Class Slave wait " and what are the possible cause of class slave wait.,
