Created cloned systems by passing context files, now my clones are showing up in production FND_NODE

We are new to R12.2.5 (txk 7) and I've been experimenting with various cloning methods, part of which is testing passing a context file to adcfgclone for both dbTier and appsTier.  I think I made a mistake, and that is I created the custom context files for my two cloned systems by doing an OS-level file copy of my current context files for the DB tier and APPS tier, but I think I maybe should have used the adclonectx utility for that.  In the copies of the context files which serve as static templates for the target systems, I replaced
