Concurrent request layout format "excel" causing the email output with incorrect file extension of .

In XML publisher, default output type is "Excel".

View output from concurrent request is downloading the output in .xls - Cool

If I try to email the output from "delivery opts" with options layout format "excel".

An email comes out with file attached and extension "excel".

Is there a way to get the attached file as .xls (dot xls and not excel)?

We are on Excel 2010.
