Install a New Component Group on Siebel App Server 3

IP 15.8 on RHEL 6 with Oracle 12c. During inital install of new environment, client decided not to install a component group on App Server 3(only in prod ... for performance reasons). Now client wants to access the uninstalled component group on same server. Is it possible to add a component group to an application server(not on gateway)? Can someone provide the steps to complete the process? What pitfalls might occur?
