GL Batches stuck in "Processing" Status

Hi All,

We are in Oracle 11i.

We found some journals for Payables invoices in unposted state and the GL Batch stuck in 'Processing' Status. What could be the reasons for this? What needs checking to determine root cause? Appreciate your comments.
