I was running the step "Run Rapid Install to configure Release 12.2 E-Business Suite instance." and got this message where I had started rapidwiz

Rapid Install Wizard is validating your file system......

CMDDIR=/dbasharedev/patches/R12.2/r12installation_12.2.5/stage122/startCD/Disk1/rapidwiz

./rapidwiz: whoami: not found

Rapid Install Wizard will now launch the Java Interface.....

Second Appltop logfile - /upg2/fs2/inst/apps/UPG_dbdss21h/logs/01291323.log

First Appltop logfile - /upg2/fs1/inst/apps/UPG_dbdss21h/logs/01291323.log

java.io.IOException: Broken pipe
