E1:00 Change number of periods from 12 to 14?

Dear Sirs/Messers

Our company setup is Date Pattern "R" and Number of periods = 12 , and we are live .

Is there any harm changing the number of periods to 14 for the sack of year end close adjustments?

Taking into consideration that we life for the GL/AP/AR , Inventory/Sales/Procurement, and Manufacturing.
