Is there a concept called preferred vendor / approved supplier list for an item in JD Edwards Enterp

Hello All,

I just wanted to know if there is a concept by which we can flag vendors / suppliers as preferred ones for a given item? Since I am little new to JDE, I am not sure if there is any such option or not. If it is available, can you please point me in right direction.

The business purpose is to identify a set of suppliers (ASL) for an item so that most of orders should be placed against only those suppliers.
