12c server layout (partitions, Windows server 2012)

Sometimes our customers ask us what requirements we have WRT the layout of an Oracle Server.

Since we run Oracle in house only for developing our application or problem tracking, we seldom if not at all

care about performance and layout issues. We leave that normally to the customer sites' experts.

Now we are being asked about our requirements regarding partitioning of the DB-server (some current Wi´ndows server). The customer says he's running a RAID5 system on which their DB experts would like to have 3 partitions (DB, logfiles and etc., whatever the latter would be). Our application will reside on the same server but in a separate partition.
