Process for Rejected Requisitions on a Work Order

Hi everyone...I apologize in advance if this is a simple question, but I'm not very familiar with Work Orders, more of a Purchasing person.  The question came up yesterday what should we be doing if the requisitions that get created from the Work Order get Rejected? Currently those Work Orders are still hanging out in there queue (sorry I don't know the actual term for it) indefinitely since it doesn't appear that anything can be done with the Work Order.  The rejected requisition kind of hangs out in limbo also since it went back to whoever created the Work Order
