FDMEE Validation Error

We are using FDMEE 11.1.2.4.200.
We are getting FDMEE Validation Error even though the appropriate maps exist in the dimension mapping. We are in the process of revising one of our custom dimension mapping by moving most of the EXPLICIT maps to LIKE maps. In this exercise we ended up with around 4000 LIKE maps to be updated.
Is there a limitation in number of maps that can be updated under one category of mapping (Ex: Explicit/MD/BETWEEN/LIKE)?Could this be a cause for this issue? If not please suggest what could be the issue for validation error when the correct map exists?
