Systems OAF Personalization to allow users to search by address (not city)

Hi All,

It seems very odd to not allow a user to type the address when creating or updating a system in the Install Base. The default search parameters allow City, Party Name, Party Number and Location Number, but does not allow the user to simply start typing the address. Is is very counter intuitive and surprising considering just about everywhere else the user starts by typing the actual address, e.g. "123 Main"

I am very curious to understand how the search feature was developed - what use case was in mind when defaulting the CITY as the search criteria and then limited the search, but not including the actual address line information. Not to mention the use of Installed At and actually meaning City:
