Configuring dbconsole on physical standby

Hi,

We have a 11.2.0.4 primary and physical standby database environment

We do have quarterly exercise where we perform / test switchover and switchback operations letting the standby run as primary for a few days and then back

During this time while the standby is running in primary mode we need to be able to monitor the database using dbconsole

What we are looking for is a repeatable process where we can configure dbconsole on the standby database and primary database as required and have a few questions

1) In order for us to configure the dbconsole on the standby database, does it has to be running in a primary database / read write mode OR can we configure dbconsole on it while it is opened READ ONLY (Active data guard) mode?

Howdy, Stranger!
