TLS/STRP separate interface

Does Oracle recommend provisioning TLS traffic on it's own separate interface?  The majority of our traffic comes in a single access interface, which accepts TCP and UDP and we would like to deploy TLS.  I'm just wondering if it is recommended to separate this traffic.
