In an eBS R12 configuration across two data centres, the application and database tier are in Active/Passive Mode. Will this allow transparent failover in the vent of any single node failing? Will this allow a Recovery Point Objective (RPO) of zero transaction loss in the event of any single node failing? Will this allow a Recovery Time Objective (RTO)  to meet the availability target set by the business of 99.95%? Can you have both the application and database tiers in Active/Passive and ensure delivery of these requirements?
