What are the BI Publisher tables SDCHOICEHISTORY, SDLEARNINGSTORAGE, and SDSTATISTICS used for?

Hi,

We are using BI Publisher 11.1.1.9, and are seeing errors in the logs indicating that the tables SDCHOICEHISTORY, SDLEARNINGSTORAGE, and SDSTATISTICS are not getting purged properly. We're most likely hitting the issue mentioned in https://support.oracle.com/epmos/faces/BugDisplay?id=9415532, that the "user_lock" package is not installed.

However, the tables are completely empty. It's likely that they are not being written in to, but it may also be possible that they are actually getting purged. If they are not being written to, I would like to find out why.

I haven't been able to find any resources that talk about what those tables are used for and when they get written to, does anyone know?
