ACA - 1095C and PT-to-FT staff
I have new Benefits staff working on validation this year, and we seem to continue to have issues with staff who move from PT to FT or vice versa. I have an employee who was part-time until May 2016, then went full-time for a couple months, then back to part-time through December.
The ACA Full Time flag is only marked on the People record that has the full-time assignment and the other People records are unchecked. Yet the 1095C results are showing an offer of coverage after the employee returned to PT through December. When I look at the enrollment results, their coverage ended when the FT status ended. I'm assuming there must be some kind of life event issue then.
