Calculate Asset Depraciate on daily basis

Hi,

We have a requirement to depreciate asset based on exact number of days per year. We have created new book defining depreciation calendar monthly basis and Prorate Calendar 'Daily basis'. However while defining asset category for new books in 'Default Rules' tab system only provide option to enter life in 'Year' and 'Month' and no option is available to mention number of days.

How system will calculate depreciation based on number of days since depreciation method doesn't provide option to enter no of days.

Please advise.
