Large EBS BI Publisher report o/p in Excel

I am having BI report being submitted from EBS. Report has o/p more than 65K records & when trying to open, getting message as file corrupted. Please suggest any wayout. Saw one link "https://community.oracle.com/thread/3946302" however not sure how to create tag with rownum as parent as rest as child.
