Critical items and assets

Dear Team and Srini,

The question not fully relevant to EAM but need to understand any process suggestion

we have critical asset in place and for that always there is an need of keeping inventory items to ensure the replacement of the same items

now finance dept. wants to do depreciation for the critical items which is in warehouse

any possibilities to do depreciation for the inventory items which is part of critical asset

Note : They need to do depreciation on inventory valuation ?
