Sequence of Auto Lot Assignment

Hello,

We are using JDE World A92. I would like to ask a question regarding auto lot assignment in Work Order Generation P31410.

We have setup our processing option to auto assign lot number. One of the item components has two lots having the same expiry date (i.e. 08/02/2017 in MM/DD/YYYY) but different lot numbers: 70125523SF and 70126522SF. During the genertion, system assigned lot 70126522SF instead of 70125523SF. I would like to know how does system determine which lot to assign first if both lots are having the same expiry date. Shouldn't it pick the smaller lot number first?
