Performance Management notification are not sent to receipent

Hi Team, i created a plan in the Performance Management module and later on i added a staff who was not included initially. Unfortunately, the staff did not get the notification to this effect. Same was encountered after extending objectives for a staff, the employee did not get a notification. Please what is the resolution.
