Is it possible to change PA periods so they end on Fridays instead of Saturdays?

Our setup has been that weeks end on Saturdays, and we have quite a bit of history this way.  There are some things that would be easier for our timecard system if the weeks ended on Fridays instead.  Is this possible?  If it is, are there any issues with previous weeks ending on Saturdays and new weeks ending on Fridays?
