Word 2016

We have a BI Publisher report that outputs to .rtf format.  We just upgraded to Office 2016 and when we run this report, the output is unprintable.  When I view it, it looks like it always did.  Anyone know how I can fix this?  I tried converting the template to word 2016 format, but that didn't fix the problem.
