Question on OS JDK 8 compatibility with EBS 12.1.3

Hi,

We are running Oracle EBS 12.1.3  with 12.1.0.2 Oracle Database on Sun Solaris 10, 64-bit on a SPARC server.

We are planning to upgrade the OS JDK from 1.6 to 1.8. 

 

Does upgrading the OS JDK upgrade to 1.8 has any affect on the EBS 12.1.3 and its executables?

Is this supported by Oracle EBS Tech Team?

Can anyone help please..?
